A new CNN/ORC International poll finds Donald Trump has a “taste” for education and “socially conservative values” that may be detrimental to his presidency.
But he also has “a deep respect for education” and “has no intention to privatize education,” according to the poll.
The findings of the poll were released Thursday.
They underscore the challenges the president faces as he tries to attract college-educated voters and build support among Republicans.
The CNN/Orc poll surveyed more than 5,000 registered voters in both major-party races.
The margin of error is plus or minus 3 percentage points.
