tara Westover graduated from the American Institute of Certified Educators in January 2019.
She is currently working on a Master of Science in Business Administration degree.
She will complete her internship with the school, and then return to the classroom as an academic instructor.
Westover has been teaching in the Philadelphia Public Schools for more than 20 years.
She earned her Bachelor of Science degree in Educational Leadership from the University of Delaware.
Westhoff says, “It is amazing to see the impact of the work I am doing in education.”
Westhoff graduated from Penn State University with a Bachelor of Arts in English with a concentration in the History of the Arts.
She has also worked as an instructor for the Pennsylvania History Society.
She also holds a Master’s degree in Teaching and Leadership from Penn Westmoreland University.
Westoff says, “My goal is to be a teacher who can teach people how to do things the right way.”
She says that it is important to remember that all children, regardless of race, ethnicity, gender, sexual orientation, or religion, are created equal in the eyes of God.
